This is an italic serif with slender stems, bracketed serifs, and a gently modulated stroke that creates a crisp, flowing rhythm. Uppercase forms are tall and poised with narrow proportions and sharp, clean terminals, while lowercase shows pronounced cursive construction with single-storey a and g, a descending f, and a right-leaning overall axis. Curves are smooth and open, counters are relatively generous for the width, and diagonal strokes (notably in v, w, x, y) feel taut and precise. Numerals are similarly refined, with narrow figures and clear, calligraphic shaping that matches the text color of the letters.

Well-suited to editorial typography, book or magazine settings where an italic is needed for emphasis, and refined literary titles or pull quotes. It can also support upscale branding and formal communications where a graceful, traditional italic voice is desired, especially at moderate to larger text sizes.

The tone is formal and cultured, leaning toward a bookish, editorial elegance rather than display exuberance. Its italic movement reads confident and traditional, suggesting sophistication and a measured, classic voice.

The design appears intended to provide a classic, readable italic with calligraphic nuance—more expressive than a purely mechanical oblique, yet restrained enough for sustained reading and sophisticated typographic hierarchy.

The sample text shows strong word-shape continuity and a consistent slant, with lively entry/exit strokes that keep lines moving without looking overly decorative. Capitals maintain a reserved presence, while the lowercase carries most of the expressive character through its cursive joins and tapered terminals.
