Capitals feature prominent swashes and inward curls, while lowercase forms stay compact with a relatively small x-height and tall, airy extenders. Overall spacing is tidy and rhythmical, with a polished, engraved feel rather than a rough, textured hand.

For longer passages, it works most comfortably at larger sizes with ample line spacing to prevent ascenders, descenders, and swashes from crowding.
