A condensed, upright serif with narrow proportions and noticeably irregular outlines. Strokes show a mottled, ink-worn texture with scalloped edges, occasional pinching, and small interior voids that suggest rough printing or degraded ink. Serifs are bracketed and uneven, with a slightly top-heavy, calligraphic feel in some joins, while counters remain mostly open despite the distressed contour. Spacing and widths vary from glyph to glyph, creating a lively, imperfect rhythm in both caps and lowercase; numerals follow the same roughened construction and uneven terminals.

Best suited to short display copy where the distressed texture can be appreciated—such as horror or Halloween titles, theatrical posters, game or film graphics, and cover typography. It can also work for themed packaging or labels that aim for an aged, eerie, or rough-printed look, especially when paired with simpler supporting text.

The overall tone is darkly playful and antique, combining a gothic-leaning bookishness with a gritty, distressed finish. It reads as mysterious and theatrical rather than clean or modern, with an intentionally imperfect, handmade character.

The design appears intended to evoke an old, worn serif printed from imperfect type or a distressed stamp, prioritizing atmosphere and tactile texture over neutrality. Its condensed build and lively irregularity support attention-grabbing headlines and themed branding with a deliberately weathered voice.

Texture is strong enough to become a primary visual feature, so apparent sharpness and clarity will depend heavily on size and reproduction method. In longer passages the narrow build and rough edges create a busy color, while in shorter settings the irregular silhouette becomes a distinctive signature.
