A jagged, blackletter-leaning display face built from heavy, angular strokes with frequent thorn-like spurs and sharp, faceted terminals. Counters are small and irregular, with diamond and wedge-shaped openings that create a cut-out, chiseled feel. The rhythm is intentionally uneven, with pointed notches and abrupt joins that break smooth curves into hard edges; rounds (like O and 0) appear as angular, gem-like rings. Spacing reads relatively tight in text, and the overall color is dense and high-impact, prioritizing silhouette over fine detail.

Best suited to posters, title cards, album/track art, game UI headers, and event promotions where an eerie or threatening mood is desirable. It works well for short phrases and impactful headlines, and can be paired with a simpler sans or serif for body copy to keep reading comfortable.

The font projects a sinister, occult atmosphere—more cursed manuscript than classic calligraphy. Its aggressive spikes and fractured shapes suggest danger, magic, and horror, giving headlines an immediate “warning label” intensity.

The design appears intended to deliver a horror-forward display look by fusing blackletter structure with exaggerated spikes and chipped, cut-in counters. Its consistent thorny terminals and faceted bowls are aimed at creating an instantly recognizable silhouette for dramatic, themed typography.

Legibility holds best at display sizes where the sharp interior cuts and spurs can breathe; at smaller sizes the dense texture and tight apertures can make word shapes feel busy. Numerals and capitals share the same carved, thorned construction, helping mixed-case settings maintain a consistent, ominous tone.
