A condensed, heavy display face built from chunky, faceted strokes with chamfered corners and slightly irregular edges that mimic distressed print. An internal inline cut runs through many stems and diagonals, creating a carved, dimensional effect without reducing the overall mass. Counters are tight and angular, terminals are blunt, and diagonals (notably in V/W/X/Y) are sharp and assertive, producing a compact, punchy texture in both capitals and lowercase. Numerals follow the same stout, bevelled construction for consistent headline impact.

Best suited to posters, event titles, storefront-style signage, packaging labels, and punchy logotypes where the inline carving can read clearly. It performs especially well for short, emphatic text and display treatments that benefit from a vintage, showy presence.

The overall tone reads bold and theatrical, with a strong old-poster energy that suggests saloons, carnival signage, and classic show bills. The inline carving adds a handcrafted, woodblock-like character that feels nostalgic and slightly rough-around-the-edges rather than sleek or modern.

The design appears intended as a high-impact display font that combines condensed, blocky letterforms with an engraved inline to evoke traditional sign painting and letterpress aesthetics. The faceted construction and roughened edges suggest a deliberate aim for character and immediacy over neutrality.

The distressed detailing and internal cut lines become more prominent at larger sizes, while smaller settings may lose some of the carved nuance. The narrow proportions and dense interiors create a dark color on the page, making spacing and line breaks important for longer phrases.
