This is a very light, italic slab-serif with crisp, unbracketed terminals that read as small rectangular “caps” on many strokes. Curves are smooth and fairly open, with a calm, low-contrast rhythm and an overall airy color on the page. The italic construction leans consistently and uses gentle, calligraphic joins, while the slab serifs stay clean and squared, creating a precise, slightly chiseled silhouette. Counters are generous (notably in C, O, and e), and spacing feels even and text-friendly in running lines.

It suits editorial typography—magazines, book interiors, essays, and cultural journalism—where an italic voice is needed without sacrificing structure and clarity. The thin stroke and crisp slabs also make it effective for refined branding, pull quotes, and short headlines, especially at moderate-to-large sizes where the delicate details remain distinct.

The tone is refined and literary, combining a scholarly, bookish feel with a contemporary crispness from the square slab endings. It feels poised and measured rather than loud, with an elegant slant that adds motion without becoming overly decorative.

The design appears intended to merge the clarity and stability of a slab-serif framework with the grace of an italic text face. The squared, unbracketed serifs provide a disciplined, modern edge, while the light weight and open counters aim for an elegant, readable texture in continuous text.

Uppercase forms appear restrained and classical in proportion, while the lowercase has a readable, editorial texture with clear differentiation between similar shapes. Numerals are slender and airy, matching the lightweight stroke and maintaining the same crisp terminal language seen in the letters.
