A heavy, blocky slab serif with compact proportions and prominent, bracketed slabs that read as slightly irregular and hand-cut. Strokes are broadly even with subtle modulation, and many joins show soft rounding that gives an inked, stamped look. The lowercase is sturdy and compact with a single-storey a, a deep-shouldered r, and a descender on g that stays bold and full; counters are relatively tight, boosting density. Numerals are stout and high-impact, matching the letters with the same chunky slabs and rounded transitions.

Best suited to headlines, display copy, and short emphatic phrases where its chunky slabs and textured rhythm can carry personality. It’s a strong choice for posters, event graphics, storefront-style signage, and packaging that aims for a vintage or Western flavor. For body text, it will read dark and busy unless set large with generous spacing.

The overall tone feels Western and poster-driven, with a friendly roughness that suggests vintage signage, circus bills, or old-style product labels. Its heft and slightly uneven details create a lively, attention-grabbing rhythm that feels more expressive than formal.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact with a bold slab foundation, while adding a touch of crafted irregularity for warmth and character. It prioritizes distinctive silhouettes and a vintage display voice over quiet neutrality.

The silhouette shows noticeable glyph-to-glyph character, especially in diagonals and terminals, which adds personality but increases visual texture in longer passages. The tight internal spaces and strong slabs make it most comfortable at larger sizes where the shapes can breathe.
