A high-contrast italic serif with a clear calligraphic skeleton and brisk, tapered terminals. Serifs are bracketed and often wedge-like, with sharp entry/exit strokes and a consistent rightward slant across caps and lowercase. Curves show diagonal stress, counters are relatively open, and joins are clean, producing a lively rhythm suited to continuous text. Numerals follow the same italicized, old-style-influenced motion, with pronounced thick–thin transitions and energetic curves.

This face works especially well for italic roles in books and long-form editorial layouts, as well as pull quotes and subheads where a refined, traditional italic voice is needed. At display sizes it can provide elegant emphasis for titles, invitations, and classical-themed branding, while in text sizes it maintains a readable, energetic flow.

The overall tone is traditional and cultivated, evoking book typography and classic editorial design. Its pronounced italic movement and crisp contrast add a confident, slightly dramatic emphasis without feeling ornamental.

The design appears intended as a conventional, text-oriented italic serif with strong thick–thin contrast and a disciplined, classic construction. It aims to provide a crisp, authoritative italic voice that reads comfortably in paragraphs while still delivering expressive emphasis when used larger.

Capitals read as sturdy and well-balanced for an italic, while the lowercase carries most of the motion through angled stems and tapered terminals. The texture in paragraphs is lively and slightly sparkling due to the strong contrast and pointed finishing strokes, which can make emphasis feel assertive at larger sizes.
