A slanted, high-contrast serif with sharp, wedge-like serifs and tapered strokes that mimic a broad-pen or engraved construction. Thick verticals and hairline connections create a crisp light–dark rhythm, with pointed entry/exit strokes and frequent teardrop/ball terminals in the lowercase. Capitals are compact and sculpted, with strong diagonal stress and triangular, beaked finishing; the lowercase shows a moderate x-height and lively, cursive-like joins and descenders (notably in f, g, j, y). Numerals follow the same sculpted, italicized pattern, with pronounced contrast and angled forms.

Best suited to display use such as headlines, magazine layouts, pull quotes, and brand wordmarks where its contrast and italic motion can lead the composition. It can also work for short bursts of emphasized text (subheads, packaging callouts), but the fine hairlines and energetic shapes make it less ideal for dense, small-size body copy.

The overall tone is dramatic and stylish, projecting a classic, high-end editorial feel with a touch of vintage flair. Its sharp serifs and calligraphic terminals add theatrical energy, making the text feel expressive rather than purely utilitarian.

The design appears intended to deliver a luxurious, attention-grabbing italic serif with calligraphic accents, combining traditional serif structure with swash-like terminals for expressive, headline-forward typography.

Spacing appears intentionally open for a bold italic, helping counters stay clear despite the heavy stems. The design relies on fine hairlines and pointed details, so it reads best when printing or rendering preserves the thin strokes and terminals.
