This typeface uses a blackletter-derived construction with tall, vertical proportions and tightly spaced internal counters. Strokes alternate between thick stems and sharp, tapered terminals, producing a crisp, carved rhythm. Forms are built from broken curves and straight segments with pronounced angles, diamond-like joins, and wedge-shaped serifs. Uppercase letters are compact and monumental, while lowercase keeps a consistent vertical texture with narrow bowls and restrained ascenders/descenders. Numerals follow the same faceted, calligraphic logic, reading as sturdy and emblematic.

Best suited for display typography where texture and historical flavor are desired—such as mastheads, branding marks, event posters, album artwork, labels, and ceremonial or institutional materials. It can also work for short phrases in invitations or certificates, especially when set with ample size and spacing.

The overall tone is formal and historic, evoking manuscripts, heraldry, and traditional sign lettering. Its sharp geometry and dense texture create a stern, ceremonial voice that feels dramatic and declarative.

The letterforms appear designed to recreate the disciplined, pen-driven structure of traditional blackletter while emphasizing a bold, chiseled silhouette for modern display impact. It prioritizes atmosphere and typographic texture over long-form readability.

The design maintains a consistent black stroke color and a disciplined vertical cadence, with decorative notches and pointed terminals adding character without becoming overly flourished. At smaller sizes the interior detail and tight counters may visually merge, while at display sizes the faceting and rhythm become more legible and expressive.
