A sharply calligraphed blackletter with pronounced diagonal slant and strong thick–thin modulation. Strokes are narrow and vertically oriented, with pointed terminals, knife-like joins, and frequent wedge/diamond spurs that create a jagged rhythm. Counters tend to be tight and irregular, and many forms show broken or notched edges that suggest a broad-nib pen lifted and re-set. Capitals are more elaborate and compressed, with additional internal strokes and hooked flourishes, while lowercase maintains a consistent, upright stem structure with occasional long descenders (notably in g, j, p, q, y). Numerals are similarly narrow and stylized, with sharp entry/exit strokes and calligraphic tapering.

Best suited to display settings such as headlines, posters, book or album covers, game titles, labels, and themed branding where a medieval or occult mood is desired. It benefits from generous sizing and breathing room, as the dense internal detailing and narrow forms can become busy in long passages or at small sizes.

The overall tone is gothic and theatrical, evoking manuscripts, fantasy settings, and ceremonial lettering. Its spiky contours and high drama read as mysterious and slightly ominous, with an antique, handcrafted character rather than modern polish.

The design appears intended to reinterpret traditional gothic manuscript lettering with a lively, hand-inked texture—prioritizing mood and ornamental presence over restrained readability. Its condensed proportions and sharp detailing aim to deliver strong historical/fantasy signaling in impactful display typography.

Texture increases noticeably in continuous text: the tight spacing, angular joins, and frequent notches create a dense, patterned color that can feel decorative at larger sizes. Several glyphs show intentionally uneven stroke edges and small flicks that reinforce a hand-drawn, inked feel.
