This typeface is a serif with subtly flared stems and gently tapered stroke endings that read as a soft, calligraphic influence rather than abrupt terminals. Serifs are bracketed and lightly cupped, with smooth transitions into the main strokes and a controlled, moderate stroke modulation. Uppercase forms feel restrained and stately, with generous interior space in letters like C, O, and G; the Q shows a small, elegant tail. The lowercase is readable and open, with a two-storey a, a compact, tidy ear, and a traditional two-storey g with a defined bowl and link; ascenders are relatively tall and the overall texture stays even in paragraph settings. Numerals follow the same old-style, slightly tapered logic, with clear shapes and consistent rhythm.

It is well suited to long-form reading such as books, essays, and editorial layouts where a calm, traditional serif texture is desired. The refined flaring and clean capitals also make it appropriate for headings, cultural branding, and formal printed materials like invitations or certificates.

The overall tone is traditional and cultivated, evoking book typography and institutional polish. Its flared details add warmth and a faint handwritten flavor, keeping it from feeling overly mechanical while still remaining formal and composed.

The design appears intended to provide a contemporary, readable serif with classical proportions, enriched by subtle flaring and tapered terminals to add warmth and sophistication without sacrificing clarity in text.

Spacing and sidebearings appear balanced for continuous reading, producing an even gray value in the sample text. Curves are smooth and round with restrained sharpness, and the terminals consistently narrow as they approach the ends, reinforcing the flared, pen-influenced character.
