This serif shows pronounced thick–thin modulation with crisp, hairline serifs and tapered terminals that give many strokes a chiseled, sculpted finish. Serifs are finely bracketed and generally narrow, with pointed wedges appearing on diagonals and at stroke endings, reinforcing a high-contrast rhythm. Letterforms feel compact and controlled: bowls are cleanly drawn, counters stay open, and joins are smooth, while details like the two-storey a and g, the curved ear on g, and the energetic tails on Q and y add distinctive movement. Numerals follow the same contrast and detailing, with elegant curves and sharp finishing strokes that read well at display sizes.

Well-suited to magazine typography, headlines, and other editorial settings where high contrast and crisp detailing are assets. It can bring a premium, classic voice to book covers and branding, especially when used at moderate to large sizes where hairlines and serifs remain clear.

The overall tone is refined and literary, with a distinctly editorial polish. Its sharp contrast and tapered details create a sense of drama and sophistication, suggesting tradition with a slightly theatrical edge rather than a purely utilitarian text face.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional serif voice with heightened contrast and refined finishing, balancing readability with expressive, display-friendly detail. It aims to evoke classic print typography while adding sharper, more sculptural terminals for emphasis and personality.

In the text sample, the strong contrast and fine hairlines create a lively texture, but the thin parts become visually delicate as size decreases. The design’s pointed terminals and pronounced curves give it a spirited cadence that stands out in headings and pull quotes.
