This serif shows pronounced thick–thin modulation with a largely vertical stress and crisp, sharply tapered serifs. Capitals are stately and slightly wide with smooth, rounded bowls (C, O) and confident vertical stems, while the lowercase balances compact counters with energetic terminals. The serifs are fine and pointed, often bracketed into stems, giving the outlines a clean, precise finish. Curves are tightly controlled and the typeface maintains an even, disciplined rhythm in text, with numerals that match the same high-contrast, slightly calligraphic construction.

Well suited to editorial typography such as magazines, book interiors, and long-form reading where a classic serif voice is desired. Its strong contrast and sharp detailing also make it effective for display roles—headlines, pull quotes, and refined marketing or invitation work—where the elegant hairlines can be appreciated.

The overall tone is polished and literary, with an editorial seriousness that feels traditional rather than decorative. The sharp serifs and strong contrast lend a poised, high-end impression suitable for sophisticated typography and formal settings.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional, high-contrast serif with a refined, print-oriented feel, combining traditional proportions with crisp, contemporary drawing. It aims for clarity and authority in text while retaining enough sculpted detail to stand out in display sizes.

Several glyphs show distinctive, slightly calligraphic details—such as the angled leg on R, the sculpted diagonals in K and X, and a lively, looped tail on Q—adding character without breaking text unity. In larger sizes the fine hairlines and pointed serifs become a defining feature, emphasizing elegance and crispness.
