A high-contrast serif with sharply tapered hairlines and weighty verticals that flare into sculpted, bracketed terminals. The forms show a distinctly calligraphic modulation: thin entry/exit strokes, pointed apexes, and small wedge-like feet that read as flared serifs rather than slabs. Counters are relatively open and oval, with smooth curves and a slightly lively rhythm from varied stroke endings. The lowercase includes a two-storey “g” with a prominent ear and a two-storey “a,” while numerals follow the same contrasty, old-style influenced construction with pronounced thins and strong vertical stress.

Best suited to editorial design, magazine and newspaper display, book jackets, and brand identities that benefit from a classic, high-contrast voice. It also works well for pull quotes, section openers, and packaging where crisp serif detail and a polished tone are desirable.

The overall tone is literary and editorial, balancing elegance with a touch of theatrical contrast. It feels traditional and cultivated, with crisp details that suggest formality and authority without looking overly rigid.

The design appears intended to evoke a classic reading tradition with a contemporary sharpness, using flared, sculptural terminals and pronounced contrast to deliver elegance and emphasis. It targets display-led typography where character and refinement are more important than neutrality.

In text, the strong thick–thin pattern and crisp terminals create pronounced word-shape and a sparkling texture, especially at larger sizes. The generous curves and flared endings help keep letterforms distinct, but the finest hairlines may appear delicate in small or low-resolution settings.
