A rough, hand-rendered display face with jagged contours and broken-looking edges that mimic worn ink or scraped strokes. Forms are generally upright with narrow proportions and irregular widths, producing a restless rhythm across words. Strokes show pronounced thick–thin shifts and frequent tapering to sharp points, with uneven terminals, occasional notches, and distressed interiors that keep counters from feeling clean or geometric. Spacing and silhouette consistency are intentionally loose, giving lines of text a gritty, uneven texture.

Best suited to short, high-impact settings such as horror or thriller titles, event posters, Halloween promotions, album/merch graphics, and game or film branding where texture is a feature. It works particularly well when set large with generous tracking, letting the distressed edges read clearly.

The overall tone is dark and abrasive, evoking horror, occult, and underground music poster aesthetics. Its distressed texture and sharp, splintered endings create tension and urgency, leaning toward ominous, rebellious, and gritty moods rather than friendly or polished ones.

The design appears intended to simulate aggressive, worn lettering—like inked strokes dragged over rough paper or distressed printing—while remaining legible enough for punchy display text. It prioritizes atmosphere and texture over typographic smoothness, aiming to add grit and menace to headlines.

The texture is strong enough that smaller sizes may fill in or lose detail, while larger settings emphasize the torn edges and spiky terminals. Numerals and capitals carry the same rough treatment, helping headlines and short phrases keep a consistent distressed voice.
