A refined serif with strong thick–thin modulation and a crisp, polished drawing. The serifs are delicate and lightly bracketed, with sharp, tapered terminals and a clear calligraphic axis across rounds. Capitals are stately and wide-set, while the lowercase maintains steady rhythm with open counters and restrained, slightly tapered stems; the ‘a’ is two-storey and the ‘g’ appears double-storey. Numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, with elegant curves and fine finishing details that read best when given a bit of size and breathing room.

Well suited to magazine typography, book and journal display, and brand systems that need an upscale serif voice. It performs especially well for headlines, pull quotes, and short-to-medium passages where the contrast and sharp details can remain clear; in print or high-resolution digital contexts it will look particularly crisp.

The overall tone is poised and luxurious, leaning toward contemporary editorial sophistication rather than rustic or utilitarian text color. It evokes fashion and cultural publishing aesthetics—confident, quiet, and premium—without becoming overly decorative.

The font appears designed to deliver a modern, editorial serif look with a focus on elegance, high-end tone, and clean typographic discipline. Its contrast and finishing suggest an emphasis on display-led text setting and brand-forward composition rather than rugged, small-size utility.

The design relies on very fine hairlines and small details at joins and serifs, so it benefits from careful sizing and considerate reproduction. The forms feel intentionally calm and measured, with smooth curves and consistent stress that help longer lines look composed.
