A crisp text serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and bracketed serifs. The capitals show elegant, slightly flared strokes and carefully tapered terminals, with open counters and a steady, bookish rhythm. Lowercase forms are compact and readable, with a two-storey a, a clear two-storey g, and a narrow, sharply finished f; serifs stay consistent and clean across the alphabet. Numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, mixing straight stems with rounded bowls for a traditional, print-oriented texture.

Well-suited to book interiors, long-form editorial layouts, and academic or institutional typography where a conventional serif is expected. It can also serve as a strong display companion for headings, pull quotes, and brand materials that benefit from a classic, authoritative tone.

The overall tone is traditional and composed, leaning toward editorial seriousness rather than decorative flair. Its sharp serifs and controlled contrast suggest formality and credibility, with a subtly literary, classical voice.

The design appears intended as a conventional, versatile text serif that prioritizes clarity and a familiar reading rhythm while adding refinement through strong contrast and sharply resolved details. It aims to look at home in traditional publishing contexts without drawing attention away from the content.

Stroke endings tend to resolve into fine points or small wedges, giving the face a slightly calligraphic snap in letters like C, G, S, and the diagonals of K, V, W, and X. Spacing and proportions feel balanced for continuous reading, producing an even gray value in paragraph settings while retaining a polished, high-end look in larger sizes.
