A chunky serif with soft, blunted terminals and noticeably irregular outlines that mimic ink spread or worn printing. Strokes are heavy and slightly uneven, with moderate contrast that reads more as organic variation than strict calligraphic logic. The serifs are small and rounded rather than sharply bracketed, and counters tend to be compact, giving letters a sturdy, stamped silhouette. Overall spacing and sidebearings feel uneven in a deliberate way, reinforcing the distressed, analog texture across both capitals and lowercase.

Best suited to display settings where texture and personality are desirable: posters, bold headlines, label and packaging design, storefront-style signage, and logo wordmarks. It can work for short blurbs or pull quotes when set generously, but it is less suited to long-form reading where the distressed edges and heavy color may reduce clarity.

The font conveys a vintage, rustic tone with a playful roughness—like type pulled from an old poster, circus bill, or well-used rubber stamp. Its textured edges and bouncy rhythm feel informal and approachable, with a slightly mischievous, handmade character rather than polished editorial refinement.

The design appears intended to evoke imperfect, analog printing—combining a traditional serif framework with intentionally roughened contours for a nostalgic, handcrafted feel. It prioritizes character and presence over precision, aiming to look lived-in and expressive on the page.

In text, the rough contours create a lively gray value, but the dense shapes and tight counters can build visual noise at smaller sizes. The numerals share the same softened, distressed construction, supporting consistent display use across headings and short numeric callouts.
