This typeface has sturdy, dark strokes with clear thick–thin modulation and a slightly calligraphic, incised feel in the terminals. Many joins and stroke endings show subtle flare and bracket-like shaping rather than purely mechanical cuts, giving the forms a sculpted, chiseled look. Curves are compact and controlled, counters are relatively tight, and the overall rhythm is dense and emphatic. The lowercase shows two‑storey forms (notably a and g) and a tall, straight-sided l with a small foot, contributing to a structured, text-ready texture.

It performs well in display sizes where its contrast and flared details can register cleanly—headlines, magazine titles, pull quotes, and poster typography. It can also support short passages in editorial or packaging contexts when a traditional, authoritative voice is desired, especially where a darker typographic color is beneficial.

The overall tone feels classic and authoritative, with a bookish, editorial seriousness. Its carved terminals and controlled contrast lend it a traditional, slightly ceremonial character—more refined than utilitarian, and more assertive than delicate.

The design appears intended to blend a strong, contemporary density with classical, inscribed detailing, producing a confident reading texture that feels crafted rather than purely geometric. It aims to deliver impact and gravitas while remaining legible and orderly across uppercase, lowercase, and numerals.

The uppercase has a stately presence with broad verticals and carefully tapered curves, while the lowercase maintains a compact footprint and steady spacing that reads as deliberate and composed. Numerals appear weighty and stable, matching the text color closely for cohesive mixed-setting.
