A decorative serif with heavy, compact stems and pronounced modulation, pairing thick verticals with hairline joins and sharp internal transitions. The serifs are small but strongly shaped—often flared or bracketed—while many strokes finish in bulbous, ball-like terminals that give the outlines a soft, engraved feel. Counters tend toward small and dark, with a wide overall set and generous horizontal span in rounds like O and C. Curves show subtle swelling and tapering, and several letters feature slightly hooked or notched details that add texture without becoming script-like.

Best suited to display work where its strong contrast, wide set, and decorative terminals can be appreciated—such as posters, book covers, editorial headlines, branding marks, and heritage-leaning packaging. It can also work for short pull quotes or chapter titles, but the dense color and lively detailing make it less ideal for long-form body copy.

The tone is theatrical and vintage, evoking old-style display printing, book titling, and poster typography. Its dark color and ornate terminals create a confident, slightly whimsical presence that reads as classic rather than modern.

The design appears intended to reinterpret traditional serif forms into a bold, characterful display face, adding ornamental terminals and sharpened contrast for a historic, attention-getting voice in large sizes.

In text settings the rhythm is deliberately bouncy, with noticeable differences in letter silhouettes (especially in lowercase) that emphasize a handcrafted, period flavor. Numerals share the same heavy build and decorative finishing, keeping the set visually cohesive in headings and labels.
