A formal calligraphic serif with crisp, angular construction and pronounced wedge-like terminals. Strokes show a clear thick–thin rhythm with tapered joins, giving counters and bowls a carved, slightly faceted feel rather than smooth geometric curves. Capitals are stately and wide with distinctive, sharp entry strokes; lowercase is compact with a short x-height and long, lively ascenders/descenders. Overall spacing and rhythm feel intentionally uneven in a hand-drawn way, producing a textured line that remains readable at display sizes.

Best suited to display typography such as book and chapter titles, film/game titling, posters, and themed branding where a historic or magical flavor is desired. It also works well for invitations, certificates, and packaging labels that benefit from a formal calligraphic presence and distinctive uppercase forms.

The letterforms evoke a historical, manuscript-like tone—dignified and traditional, yet with a playful sharpness in the terminals and curves. It carries a medieval-to-renaissance storybook energy that can feel ceremonial, mystical, or theatrical depending on setting and scale.

The design appears intended to translate broad-pen calligraphy into a crisp, stylized serif with a slightly chiseled finish. Its proportions and sharp terminals prioritize character and period atmosphere, creating strong, recognizable word shapes for headlines and short passages.

The numerals and punctuation follow the same calligraphic logic, with pointed ends and subtle swelling that keeps the texture consistent across mixed text. In longer sample lines, the strong silhouettes and short x-height emphasize capitals and word shapes, making it especially effective where atmosphere matters more than neutral body-text regularity.
