A heavy, right-slanted slab serif with sharply cut, square-ended terminals and pronounced contrast between thick stems and thin joining strokes. Serifs and stroke ends often show chiseled notches and wedge-like cut-ins, creating a carved, ink-trap-like texture inside counters and at joins. Uppercase forms are compact and forceful with broad shoulders and tight apertures, while lowercase maintains a sturdy, workmanlike rhythm with slightly varied widths and brisk, angled curves. Figures are similarly bold and compact, with strong vertical emphasis and crisp, flat finishing strokes.

Best suited to display settings where its sharp cut details and heavy color can be appreciated—headlines, posters, branding marks, apparel and sports graphics, and bold packaging callouts. It can work for short bursts of text, but the dense weight and carved joins are most effective at larger sizes and with generous spacing.

The overall tone feels tough and old-school, like letterforms pulled from vintage athletic graphics, Western-influenced display work, or industrial signage. Its aggressive slant and high-contrast cuts add momentum and drama, giving text a punchy, headline-forward voice.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact with a vintage, hard-edged personality—combining bold slab structure, a strong italic lean, and deliberately cut terminals to evoke printed, engraved, or heritage display lettering.

In continuous text, the internal notches and sharp join cuts create a distinctive dark texture that reads as intentionally distressed or engraved rather than smooth. The italic angle is consistent and pronounced, helping lines flow forward even at large sizes where the detailing becomes more evident.
