A broken-stroke blackletter design with compact, angular construction and crisp, pointed joins. Stems are sturdy and fairly even in weight, with tapered terminals, short wedge-like serifs, and occasional curved flicks that soften the otherwise rigid geometry. Counters are small and often rectangular, and many letters show hooked or spurred details that create a textured, rhythmic pattern across words. Capitals are tall and ornamental without becoming overly elaborate, keeping a consistent, strongly structured silhouette in both the grid and text sample.

Well suited for display typography in titles, headers, posters, and cover work where a historic or gothic atmosphere is desired. It can also work for branding accents, labels, and packaging that benefit from a traditional, authoritative texture, especially when given generous size and spacing.

The font evokes medieval manuscript lettering with a stern, ceremonial presence. Its sharp edges and dense interior spaces create a dramatic, traditional tone suited to heritage and gothic themes rather than casual or contemporary contexts.

The design appears intended to capture the visual language of blackletter calligraphy—broken strokes, spurred terminals, and emphatic vertical rhythm—while staying relatively clean and consistent for modern typesetting in short, impactful text.

Word shapes read best at display sizes where the internal breaks and narrow counters remain clear; at smaller sizes the dense texture and spurs can merge visually. The lowercase maintains a steady vertical cadence, while distinctive forms (notably in s, k, x, and z) add pronounced character and a handcrafted feel.
