A calligraphic display face with sharply tapered strokes and pronounced wedge-like terminals that create a carved, chiseled impression. Letterforms are built from brisk, angled entry and exit strokes, with crisp inner corners and pointed joins that emphasize a rhythmic, slightly restless texture. Curves are tightened into faceted arcs (notably in bowls and rounds), while diagonals and serifs flare into blade-like tips; counters stay relatively compact, adding density in text. Figures follow the same pen-driven logic, mixing straight, cut-in strokes with narrow apertures and pointed terminals.

Best suited for short-form display settings where its pointed terminals and calligraphic contrast can be appreciated—posters, chapter openers, book and film titles, branding marks, and event materials with a historical or mystical theme. It can work for brief pull quotes or labels, but the busy, angular texture is most effective at larger sizes and with generous spacing.

The overall tone evokes historical and fantastical references—dramatic, arcane, and ceremonial—while still reading as formal rather than casual. Its sharpness and lively contrast lend a sense of urgency and theatricality, making it feel suited to tales, mystery, and old-world proclamation.

The design appears intended to translate broad-pen calligraphy into a stylized, engraved display voice, prioritizing dramatic silhouette and historic atmosphere over plain neutrality. It aims to deliver a distinctive, period-evocative texture with consistent, pen-like stroke behavior across letters and numerals.

The texture in longer lines is intentionally spiky and animated, with many terminals leaning into angular accents that can create strong patterning at larger sizes. Capitals carry especially assertive silhouettes, while lowercase keeps a compact, traditional rhythm with modest extenders and a relatively small x-height feel.
