This typeface is a high-contrast serif with distinctly flared stroke endings and bracketed serifs that transition smoothly from stems into terminals. Curves show a noticeable diagonal stress, with crisp joins and sharp apexes on forms like A, V, and W. The lowercase uses a traditional, two-storey a and g, with compact bowls and clear counters; ascenders are relatively tall and the overall rhythm feels lively rather than strictly mechanical. Numerals and capitals share the same calligraphic modulation, producing a consistent, slightly engraved look across the set.

It suits editorial typography, book interiors, and literary or cultural publishing where a traditional serif voice is desired. The distinctive flared details also work well for headlines, pull quotes, packaging, and identity systems seeking a classic, slightly dramatic serif with character.

The overall tone feels classical and literary, with a refined, old-style elegance. Its sharp, tapered details and flared endings add a faintly dramatic, ceremonial note, making the text feel more “set” and authored than neutral.

The design appears intended to evoke traditional serif typography with a calligraphic, flared-terminal treatment—balancing readability with a more expressive, crafted texture than a neutral text face.

In the text sample, the strong contrast and pointed terminals create a crisp texture that reads cleanly at larger sizes and gives headings a distinctive presence. Some letterforms show intentionally narrow internal spacing at joins and tight counters, which contributes to the dense, traditional color typical of book-oriented serifs.
