A chunky, calligraphic blackletter with a distinctly hand-drawn feel. Strokes are heavy and irregular, with roughened edges, flared terminals, and slight wobble that suggests a brush or broad-nib tool on textured paper. Forms lean and vary in width, with compact counters and a tight interior rhythm; many joins pinch into sharp notches while outer curves stay rounded and blunted. Capitals are more ornate and angular, while lowercase stays compact with sturdy stems and simplified broken forms, producing a dense, ink-rich texture in words and lines.

Works best for display typography such as headlines, posters, titles, and short phrases where its textured strokes and broken forms can read clearly. It fits especially well on packaging, signage, and book-cover titling for fantasy, folklore, historical, or Halloween-themed material, and can add an aged, handcrafted flavor to branding accents.

The overall tone is medieval and storybook-like, mixing gothic severity with a rustic, handmade warmth. It feels suited to old-world proclamations, tavern signs, and fantasy ephemera—dramatic and a little mischievous rather than pristine or formal.

The design appears intended to capture a traditional blackletter voice while emphasizing an intentionally imperfect, hand-rendered texture. Rather than aiming for strict historic precision, it prioritizes dramatic silhouette, dark typographic color, and an artisanal, inked character for expressive display use.

The numerals and lowercase maintain the same rough, carved/inked texture as the letters, giving continuous color across mixed text. Spacing looks relatively tight in running lines, and the strong stroke mass makes the face most comfortable at display sizes where the inner counters can breathe.
