A formal calligraphic serif with crisp, chiseled contours and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Strokes often taper into sharp terminals, with frequent flared or wedge-like finishes and subtle bracketed joins that evoke pen or broad-nib influence. The letterforms are upright and generously proportioned, with rounded bowls contrasted by angular cuts and occasional asymmetrical spur details. Overall texture is lively and slightly irregular in a controlled way, giving lines of text a rhythmic, hand-crafted color rather than a strictly mechanical repeat.

Well-suited for display typography where texture and character are desired—book and chapter titles, editorial headings, pull quotes, invitations, and boutique branding. It can also work for short passages in larger sizes, where the contrast and sharp terminals remain clear and the calligraphic rhythm becomes an intentional part of the voice.

The tone feels traditional and theatrical, with an old-world, storybook sophistication. Its sharp terminals and dramatic contrast add a ceremonial air, suggesting classic literature, heraldic moods, and curated craft rather than everyday neutrality.

The design appears intended to translate formal calligraphic movement into a consistent serif alphabet: dramatic contrast, tapered ends, and sculpted curves that read as hand-shaped yet organized. It aims to provide a distinctive, traditional display voice with enough regularity to set coherent lines of text.

Caps carry strong presence through broad curves and emphatic terminals, while lowercase maintains a steady, readable rhythm with distinctive angled entry/exit strokes. Numerals share the same calligraphic contrast and tapered finishing, helping mixed text retain a cohesive, engraved-like sparkle.
