A serif typeface with lightly roughened, uneven outlines that mimic worn printing or ink spread. The letterforms keep a traditional, readable structure with bracketed serifs, modest stroke contrast, and slightly organic curvature, but edges and terminals are intentionally imperfect and mottled. Counters stay fairly open in both uppercase and lowercase, while strokes show subtle waviness and small nicks that create a textured rhythm across lines. Numerals follow the same distressed treatment, with sturdy forms and softened corners.

Well-suited to display and short-to-medium passages where a classic serif voice benefits from added texture—such as posters, book covers, heritage-inspired branding, product packaging, and editorial pull quotes. It can also work for themed UI or titles where a slightly aged, printed look is desired.

The overall tone feels vintage and tactile, like letterpress, stamped packaging, or an aged book page. Its controlled irregularity adds warmth and grit without turning into novelty, giving text a human, slightly weathered presence.

The design appears intended to combine the familiar readability of a traditional serif with a deliberate distressed finish, creating a believable printed artifact look while keeping letterforms stable and legible.

In the sample text, the distressing remains consistent across sizes and across both straight and curved strokes, producing a uniform “printed-wear” effect rather than random grunge.
