This serif typeface shows pronounced thick–thin modulation with a strong vertical axis and crisp, bracketed serifs. Capitals are broad and stately with sharp apexes and clean, tapered terminals, while the lowercase maintains a traditional text rhythm with compact counters and firmly modeled stems. Curves are smoothly drawn and slightly sculpted, giving bowls (like in o, d, p, q) a rounded, polished feel; the numerals follow the same high-contrast logic with clear, old-style-like detailing and distinct shapes. Overall spacing reads even and controlled, producing a consistent, bookish texture at text sizes and a bold presence when set large.

Well suited to long-form reading in books and editorial layouts where a traditional serif texture is desired. It also performs strongly in headlines, decks, and pull quotes thanks to its crisp contrast and sturdy capitals, and it can support formal brand communications such as annual reports or institutional materials.

The tone is classic and editorial, with a confident, traditional voice that evokes book typography and established publishing. Its high-contrast modeling and sharp serifs lend a sense of refinement and seriousness, making it feel formal without becoming ornate.

The design appears intended as a conventional, publication-oriented serif that balances readability with a refined, authoritative presence. Its controlled proportions and sharp, bracketed serifs suggest an aim toward dependable text setting with enough contrast to feel premium in display use.

Diagonal forms (V, W, X, Y, and the arm/leg of K) are sharply cut and energetic, contributing to a crisp silhouette in display settings. The lowercase includes a two-story a and g, reinforcing a conventional text-serif character, while punctuation and figures appear designed to match the same measured, print-oriented rhythm.
