A heavy display face with distressed, jagged contours and irregular, blobby edges that suggest ink bleed or eroded material. The letterforms keep a broadly traditional serif/split-stroke skeleton, but the outlines are aggressively roughened, creating toothy terminals and uneven stems. Counters are relatively small and often irregular, and the texture varies slightly from glyph to glyph, giving a handmade, torn-paper or crusted-ink feel. Overall spacing reads fairly compact, while the inconsistent edges create a lively, noisy silhouette in both uppercase and lowercase.

Well suited to horror and dark-fantasy headlines, Halloween and haunted-attraction advertising, event posters, and packaging or labels that benefit from a gritty shock value. It can also work for game titles, chapter cards, or UI headings where a distressed, ominous personality is desired.

The font conveys an ominous, haunted tone—like weathered signage, cursed print, or horror title lettering. Its gritty texture feels unsettling and theatrical, with a camp-goth energy that leans into spooky storytelling rather than refinement.

Likely designed to deliver an immediately “creepy” display voice by combining a classic serif skeleton with extreme distressing and irregular outlines. The goal appears to be bold readability at headline sizes while maintaining a gnarly, aged texture that feels organic and unsettling.

At larger sizes the distressed perimeter becomes the primary feature, producing strong silhouettes and high impact. In longer lines, the heavy texture can visually accumulate, so the face reads most confidently when given breathing room and used for short statements.
