This typeface is a high-contrast serif with slender hairlines and confident vertical stems that expand into subtly flared, wedge-like terminals. Serifs are sharp and sculpted rather than blocky, giving strokes a carved, chiseled finish. Curves (C, O, S) show a controlled, slightly calligraphic modulation with a mostly vertical stress, while diagonals (V, W, X) remain crisp and taut. The lowercase keeps a measured x-height with compact bowls and narrow apertures, and details like the ear on "g" and the hooked descender of "j" add a lively, traditional text-face flavor. Numerals follow the same contrasty logic, mixing strong verticals with delicate connecting hairlines for a poised, print-oriented rhythm.

It suits editorial typography such as magazine headlines, pull quotes, and book-cover titling where high contrast and sharp serifs can read as premium and cultured. It can also work for refined branding—especially names and short phrases—where a crisp, classical voice is desired and the type is set large enough to preserve its delicate hairlines.

The overall tone is polished and literary, with a fashion-and-editorial kind of drama created by its strong thick–thin contrast and sharp finishing. It feels classic and authoritative, while the flared endings add a slightly expressive, crafted quality rather than a purely mechanical one.

The design appears intended to deliver a sophisticated serif voice with strong contrast and tailored, flared finishing—combining classical proportions with a slightly more sculptural terminal treatment for heightened presence in display and editorial settings.

Spacing in the sample text reads on the tight, compact side, reinforcing a dense, column-friendly texture at display and large text sizes. The italic is not shown; all samples appear roman. Some glyphs show intentionally asymmetric or calligraphic quirks (notably in "Q", "g", and "y"), which can add personality in headlines but may require size and spacing care in long passages.
