This typeface combines a serifed, calligraphic construction with distinctly angular, faceted outlines. Strokes are largely even in thickness, with crisp terminals that break into wedge-like points and small spur serifs, creating a carved, chiseled feel rather than a smooth pen curve. Many rounded forms (notably O/C/G and several numerals) are rendered as polygonal shapes with flattened arcs, and joins often resolve into sharp corners. Proportions are moderately condensed-to-standard with a steady rhythm; capitals are prominent and structured, while lowercase maintains clear counters and a readable, slightly formal texture.

Best suited to display applications such as titles, chapter heads, posters, packaging, and logo-style branding where the faceted details can read clearly. It is especially effective for fantasy, historical, or gothic-themed projects, and can also work for short introductory text or pull quotes when set with generous size and spacing.

The overall tone evokes manuscript and inscriptional traditions—ceremonial, historic, and slightly fantastical. Its sharp geometry and pointed details suggest heraldry, role‑playing and medieval settings, while still reading cleanly enough for short passages in display sizes.

The design appears intended to reinterpret blackletter and inscriptional cues into a cleaner, more geometric display serif. By turning curves into facets and emphasizing pointed terminals, it aims to deliver an antique, carved character that feels formal and atmospheric while remaining broadly legible.

Capitals lean toward inscriptional symmetry, with a notably polygonal O/Q and a Q that features a distinct tail. The lowercase includes single-storey a and g with angular bowls, plus narrow, pointed forms for v/w/x/y that reinforce the spiky rhythm. Numerals echo the same faceted logic, especially the octagonal 0/8 and the angled 2/3/5.
