A decorative serif with sculpted, flaring terminals and pronounced inward notches that create a stencil-like, cut-paper rhythm within otherwise solid strokes. Counters tend to be compact and vertically oriented, with many letters showing pinched joins and small teardrop-like apertures, giving the forms a chiseled, poster-ready presence. Uppercase shapes feel tall and stately with assertive verticals, while the lowercase maintains a compact, slightly condensed footprint and a consistent, carved-through motif across bowls and shoulders. Numerals echo the same pinched geometry and strong silhouettes, reading bold in outline despite the restrained contrast.

Best suited to headlines, posters, book or album titles, and identity work where a strong, stylized serif is desired. It can add character to packaging and editorial display lines, especially when given generous size and spacing to preserve the crisp internal cut shapes.

The overall tone is dramatic and slightly enigmatic—part vintage showcard, part art-deco-inflected display. Its recurring notches and flared ends add a ceremonial, theatrical character that can feel luxurious or gothic depending on layout and spacing.

The font appears intended as a statement display serif that blends classic serif structure with a deliberately carved, ornamental construction. Its goal is to deliver immediate recognizability through repeated pinches and flares, creating a signature texture across both uppercase and lowercase.

The design’s distinctive interior cut-ins become a defining texture in words, producing a patterned cadence across stems and curves. In longer settings the tight apertures and frequent notching can reduce clarity, but at headline sizes it creates a memorable, branded voice.
