A decorative serif with extremely thin hairlines and sharp, needle-like terminals that often extend beyond the main strokes as small spikes and crossbars. Letterforms are condensed with tall ascenders and descenders, and the serif treatment feels irregular—more like carved or scratched notches than classical brackets. Many glyphs include mid-stem protrusions and asymmetric details, giving the outlines a deliberately unsettled rhythm while keeping a consistent vertical skeleton. Numerals follow the same spiked, cut-in styling, remaining legible but intentionally idiosyncratic.

Best suited for display use where its spiked detailing can be appreciated: horror or thriller titles, Halloween/event posters, game interfaces for dark-fantasy worlds, album/merch graphics, and brand marks that want an eccentric gothic edge. It can work for short headlines or pull quotes, but extended paragraphs may feel visually dense due to the repeated protrusions.

The font projects a tense, uncanny tone—part gothic, part improvised—suggesting ritual, mystery, and a slightly mischievous sense of danger. Its scratchy spikes and uneven detailing create an unsettling texture that reads as theatrical rather than purely historical.

The design appears intended to merge a condensed gothic skeleton with deliberately irregular, thorn-like interruptions—creating a one-off display face that feels hand-made, sharp, and slightly chaotic while staying readable. The consistent vertical structure suggests it was built for dramatic headline impact rather than quiet text color.

In text settings the repeated stem spikes form a strong vertical texture that can feel busy at smaller sizes, while larger sizes reveal the quirky handcrafted details and distinctive silhouettes. Round letters (C, O, Q) keep fairly narrow counters, and diagonals (K, V, W, X) emphasize the thorn-like terminals, making the overall word shapes feel animated and edgy.
