A slanted, calligraphy-driven serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and tapered terminals. Strokes often finish in sharp, wedge-like points, and many letters show subtly flared entries and exits that mimic a broad-nib or pointed-pen rhythm. Capitals are sculpted and slightly swashy without becoming overly ornate, while the lowercase keeps a steady x-height with lively ascenders and descenders. Overall texture is crisp and high-contrast, with gently variable character widths that create a flowing, handwritten cadence in text.

Best suited to display sizes where the contrast and tapered details can be appreciated—such as book and magazine headlines, pull quotes, invitations, certificates, and heritage-leaning branding. It can also work for short editorial passages or captions when set with generous spacing and comfortable line height.

The font reads as refined and traditional, with an old-world, literary tone. Its energetic slant and sharp terminals add a sense of drama and motion, while the controlled contrast keeps it polished and formal rather than casual.

The design appears intended to deliver a classical, pen-influenced italic voice that feels authoritative and cultured. It aims to balance decorative sharpness and swash-like motion with enough consistency to remain readable in polished display and short-text contexts.

Round forms (like O/Q) are smooth and weighty on the stressed sides, and diagonal-heavy letters (V/W/X/Y) emphasize the calligraphic directionality. Numerals follow the same italicized, contrasty logic, blending naturally with the letterforms for display settings.
