A jagged, display-oriented serif with rough, chipped edges and aggressive triangular notches throughout the strokes. The letterforms are mostly upright with uneven terminals that taper into points, giving a cut-and-torn silhouette rather than clean curves. Strokes show moderate contrast, but the dominant impression comes from irregular contouring and sharp, thorn-like protrusions that vary from glyph to glyph. Counters tend to stay open and readable, while joins and serifs often break into angular facets that create a restless texture across words.

Best suited to short, high-impact typography such as posters, title cards, packaging accents, or event promotions where mood is the primary goal. It works especially well for horror, thriller, dark fantasy, and seasonal themes, and can add a distressed edge to logos or headlines when used at larger sizes.

The font projects an ominous, horror-tinged mood—more gnarly and feral than elegant—suggesting danger, decay, and suspense. Its scratchy, spiked finishing adds tension and a sense of motion, making even neutral text feel eerie and theatrical.

The design appears intended to deliver a legible yet unsettling display serif by combining familiar letter skeletons with deliberately distressed, pointed terminals and chipped contours. The consistent use of spikes and rough edges suggests a controlled “crafted damage” approach aimed at atmospheric branding rather than continuous reading.

In paragraph settings the repeated spikes and torn terminals create a strong dark rhythm and noticeable sparkle at edges; it reads best with generous tracking and line spacing to keep the textured silhouettes from crowding. Numerals and capitals carry the same blade-like detailing, helping maintain a consistent voice across titles and short bursts of text.
