A high-contrast, upright display face with brush-ink construction and intentionally ragged contours. Strokes taper sharply into points, with occasional flare-like terminals and slight wobble in curves that creates a hand-rendered rhythm. Counters tend toward rounded, open shapes while joins and diagonals show scratchy, bristled edges, giving the outlines a worn, ink-drag texture. Capitals are tall and varied in stance, and lowercase forms keep a compact x-height with lively ascenders/descenders and uneven stroke width that reinforces the distressed, organic feel.

Best suited for short, prominent text where texture and personality are an asset: titles, chapter heads, posters, packaging, and branding for fantasy, Halloween, or occult-themed projects. It can also work for pull quotes or signage at larger sizes, while extended body text may feel busy due to the rough edges and high-contrast strokes.

The overall tone is darkly playful and theatrical, suggesting folklore, magic, and vintage curiosities. Its scratchy brush texture and sharp terminals add tension and drama without becoming chaotic, making it feel more “enchanted manuscript” than purely grunge.

The design appears intended to mimic expressive brush lettering with a worn, ink-scraped finish, combining calligraphic stress with distressed outlines for a dramatic, themed display look.

Round letters like O/Q show visible interior scuffing and textured bowls, while diagonals in letters like V/W/X and the digits display pronounced tapering and pointed endings. The texture appears baked into the letterforms rather than added as an overlay, so the distressed character stays consistent across the set.
