A formal calligraphic display face with a blackletter-leaning skeleton and brisk, slightly right-leaning movement. Strokes show pronounced thick–thin modulation with tapered, pen-like terminals and occasional small spur-like flicks. Capitals are decorative and compact with curved entry strokes and intermittent swashes, while lowercase forms stay unconnected and rhythmic, mixing rounded bowls with angular joins. Counters are relatively tight and the overall color is assertive, producing a crisp texture that reads best at larger sizes.

Well suited to display typography where a historic or crafted atmosphere is desired, such as posters, book and chapter titles, packaging accents, event invitations, certificates, and identity marks. It can work for short passages at large sizes, but the dense interior shapes and strong modulation make it most comfortable for headlines and featured text.

The font conveys a historic, ceremonial tone—evoking manuscripts, heraldry, and old-world signage. Its sharp contrasts and flared endings add drama and ritual formality, giving text a crafted, traditional character rather than a modern neutral voice.

The design appears intended to translate broad-nib calligraphy into a consistent, print-ready display style, balancing legibility with ornamental cues. Its mix of blackletter-like structure and smoother curves suggests a goal of creating an old-world voice that remains approachable in contemporary layouts.

Spacing appears generous for a display face, helping the busy shapes stay distinct in words and headlines. Numerals follow the same calligraphic logic with tapered strokes and a slightly antique feel, aligning visually with the capitals’ decorative emphasis.
