A compact, heavy slab-serif display face with condensed proportions and mostly upright construction. Strokes are thick and strongly bracketed into blunt, rectangular serifs, while counters stay relatively small, giving the letters a dense, poster-like color. Edges and interior joins show deliberate roughness—small nicks, uneven corners, and slightly wobbly contours that mimic worn printing or chipped wood type. The rhythm is vertical and columnar, with tight apertures and sturdy stems; rounded letters like O/C show subtle squaring and irregularity rather than smooth geometry. Numerals and caps follow the same chunky, tightly packed build, maintaining an assertive, stamp-like presence across the set.

Best suited for short, bold text where texture is part of the message—posters, headlines, labels, event graphics, storefront-style signage, and branding accents. It can add character to thematic packaging and titles, especially where a vintage or rustic atmosphere is desired.

The font reads as old-time and frontier-adjacent, with a rugged, workmanlike tone that feels pulled from aged posters and distressed signage. Its irregular texture adds grit and personality, making it feel handmade and slightly mischievous rather than polished or corporate.

The design appears intended to evoke condensed slab-serif woodtype with a deliberately worn print finish, combining strong readability at display sizes with a tactile, imperfect surface.

Spacing appears tuned for display impact: narrow letterforms with strong internal weight create a dark, attention-grabbing line. The distress is consistent enough to feel intentional, but varied enough to avoid a repeating pattern, supporting an authentic printed-wear impression.
