This typeface is a slanted serif with bracketed, wedge-like terminals and a gently calligraphic construction. Strokes show clear thick–thin modulation without becoming delicate, and curves transition smoothly into serifs, producing an even, continuous rhythm. Proportions run slightly expanded with open counters and generous sidebearings, helping the italic forms stay readable. Numerals and capitals maintain the same controlled modulation and angled stress, giving the set a cohesive, text-oriented texture.

It is well suited to long-form reading in books and editorial layouts, where the smooth modulation and open shapes create a steady text color. The italic emphasis makes it a strong choice for quotations, captions, and pull quotes. It can also work for refined titling in programs, invitations, and other formal printed materials where a classic serif voice is desired.

The overall tone is traditional and literary, with an educated, editorial feel. Its slant and soft bracketed serifs add a sense of movement and elegance while keeping the voice measured rather than flamboyant. It reads as trustworthy and cultivated, suited to settings that benefit from a classic, bookish character.

The design appears intended to provide a conventional, high-legibility serif italic with a subtle calligraphic flavor. It aims for a balanced blend of elegance and practicality—expressive enough to add tone, but restrained enough to function as a reliable text companion.

Letterforms exhibit a consistent rightward slant and slightly rounded joins that keep stroke transitions smooth. The italics look more like a true italic than a mechanical oblique, with cursive influence visible in several lowercase shapes and their entry/exit strokes. Spacing appears comfortable, supporting continuous reading in paragraph samples.
