A slab-serif, typewriter-inspired roman with visibly roughened contours and uneven inking. Strokes are sturdy with modest contrast, and terminals often end in squared slabs that appear slightly chipped or swollen, creating a printed-by-impact texture. Curves show mild wobble and occasional flattening, while counters stay fairly open, keeping letters readable despite the distressed perimeter. The overall rhythm is steady and upright, with a consistent, mechanical construction that’s been deliberately “weathered.”

Works well for display typography that benefits from texture—posters, book and album covers, film/TV titling, and themed editorial spreads. It can also add character to short paragraphs, pull quotes, labels, and packaging where a vintage, typewritten atmosphere is desired.

The font conveys an analog, tactile mood—like old correspondence, carbon copies, or archival paperwork that’s been handled and re-inked over time. Its rough edges and blotty texture add grit and tension, lending a subtly ominous, investigative tone without becoming illegible.

The design appears intended to evoke classic typewriter typography while adding a controlled distressed finish to simulate worn ribbons, imperfect strike pressure, and aged printing. It aims for a balance of legibility and atmosphere, providing a ready-made texture for storytelling and period-flavored layouts.

Uppercase forms feel authoritative and poster-like, while the lowercase retains a utilitarian, typed character. Numerals follow the same worn imprint, helping maintain a cohesive look in headlines and short passages. The distress is consistent across glyphs, suggesting intentional surface degradation rather than random noise.
