A serifed display face with blunt, bracket-like serifs and softly rounded joins, rendered with intentionally uneven edges that mimic worn printing or ink spread. Strokes stay fairly even in thickness, but the contours wobble and taper subtly, creating a lively, imperfect rhythm. Proportions lean compact with a notably short x-height and sturdy capitals; curves are slightly squarish and counters are moderately open, keeping letterforms readable while preserving the distressed texture.

Best suited to short-to-medium display settings where the distressed edges can be appreciated: posters, labels and packaging, book covers, event flyers, and thematic signage. It can work for brief passages or pull quotes when a textured, vintage-leaning voice is desired, but it will be most effective at larger sizes where the roughened contours stay clear.

The overall tone feels rustic and handmade, like text pulled from an old poster, folk pamphlet, or well-used storybook. Its irregular inking adds warmth and a lightly mischievous character, reading as casual, human, and a bit nostalgic rather than polished or corporate.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif structure while deliberately introducing irregular, worn contours to evoke aged print and handcrafted production. It prioritizes atmosphere and personality over pristine geometry, aiming for a consistent distressed texture across caps, lowercase, and numerals.

In running text the texture becomes a consistent grain across the line, with small bumps and nicks along terminals that create a printed-from-type or stamped impression. Numerals share the same softened, worn silhouette, helping maintain a cohesive look in headings that mix text and numbers.
