This serif shows pronounced thick–thin modulation with crisp, hairline-like joins and strongly bracketed serifs. The letterforms have compact interiors and a sturdy vertical rhythm, while many curves finish in ball or teardrop terminals that add a decorative edge without becoming script-like. Capitals feel formal and weighty with sharp apexes and tapered joins; lowercase maintains a traditional structure with a two-storey a and g, a narrow, compact e, and a lively y with a curled descender. Figures are robust and stylized, with noticeable oldstyle influence in their curving strokes and distinctive terminals.

Best suited to headlines, pull quotes, mastheads, and cover typography where the contrast and terminals can perform as a feature. It can work for short editorial passages at generous sizes and leading, and for branding in sectors that benefit from a classic-yet-expressive serif voice.

The overall tone is classic and editorial, with a theatrical, high-fashion polish. Its ornamental terminals give it a slightly eccentric, storybook personality, balancing refinement with a hint of flourish.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional text-serif foundation enhanced with expressive terminals and a strong vertical presence. It aims for an upscale, print-forward look that feels traditional while still offering distinctive character in key glyphs and numerals.

Text samples show tight, dark color at display sizes, where the dramatic contrast and terminal details read clearly. At smaller sizes the dense counters and decorative endings may dominate, so spacing and size choice will strongly affect readability and texture.
