A slanted serif design with pronounced thick–thin modulation and crisp hairlines. The letterforms show gently bracketed serifs, tapered terminals, and a flowing italic construction with lively entry and exit strokes. Capitals are relatively narrow and poised, with sharp apexes and curved joins, while the lowercase is more fluid and rhythmic, featuring a single-storey a and g and long, descending forms that add movement. Numerals follow the same calligraphic logic, with angled stress and delicate finishing strokes that keep the texture light and airy in running text.

Well-suited to editorial typography where an elegant italic voice is needed, such as pull quotes, introductions, and literary headings. It can also work for invitations and formal announcements, and for branding that aims for a classic, upscale impression. Because of the delicate hairlines and contrast, it is most at home at moderate-to-large sizes or in high-quality print and display settings.

The overall tone is refined and literary, balancing formality with a graceful, handwritten energy. Its high-contrast strokes and pronounced slant give it a sense of sophistication and ceremony, suitable for elevated editorial or cultural contexts.

The design appears intended to provide a polished, classic italic companion for refined typography, emphasizing calligraphic movement and high-contrast elegance while maintaining conventional serif proportions for comfortable reading.

In text, the strong diagonal rhythm and fine hairlines create a sparkling page color, with noticeable emphasis from sweeping capitals and deep descenders. The italic structure reads as purpose-built rather than a simple slant, giving words a distinctive forward motion.
