A high-contrast serif with strong vertical stems, hairline connecting strokes, and crisply bracketed serifs that often sharpen into small wedges. The design shows pronounced vertical stress in rounded letters, with compact apertures and a sturdy, slightly condensed interior rhythm in the lowercase. Terminals frequently resolve into teardrop or ball-like shapes (notably in forms like a, c, f, and s), while diagonals in letters such as V, W, X, and Y stay clean and angular. Numerals follow the same contrast and serif logic, with clear baseline anchoring and elegant, thin horizontals.

Best suited to headlines, deck text, and editorial display settings where the contrast and serif detailing can remain crisp. It can also work for book covers, cultural or fashion branding, and pull quotes, especially when set with comfortable line spacing and not pushed too small.

The overall tone is traditional and editorial, projecting authority and polish with a distinctly print-like crispness. Its dramatic contrast and confident serifs give it a formal, slightly theatrical presence suited to emphatic typographic statements.

The design appears intended to modernize a conventional serif model with heightened contrast and expressive terminals, balancing classic proportions with a more emphatic, attention-grabbing texture for display-forward typography.

At larger sizes the fine hairlines and small counters read as elegant detailing, while at smaller sizes the contrast may demand careful spacing and sufficient rendering quality. The caps feel stately and stable, and the lowercase maintains a consistent, bookish texture with occasional decorative terminal flair.
