A slanted, broken-stroke letterform with sharp joins and wedge-like terminals that evoke a pen-nib or chisel. Stems are segmented into angular facets with pronounced thick–thin modulation and frequent diamond-shaped corners, creating a crisp, rhythmic texture. Capitals are tall and ornate with pointed spurs and tight internal counters, while lowercase maintains a compact, upright structure under the overall rightward slant. Numerals follow the same cut, blackletter construction, with narrow set widths and strong vertical emphasis.

Best suited to display typography where its intricate blackletter construction can be appreciated—mastheads, titles, posters, labels, and brand marks with an old-world or traditional theme. It can also work for short formal phrases such as certificates or invitations, but the dense texture and sharp detailing are most effective at larger sizes.

The font conveys a traditional Gothic tone—formal, authoritative, and slightly severe. Its sharp geometry and calligraphic stress suggest historical documents, crests, and ceremonial signage, while the italic slant adds urgency and motion.

The design appears intended to reinterpret classic blackletter calligraphy with a crisp, engraved feel and a consistent rightward slant, prioritizing dramatic texture and historical character over neutral readability.

The texture becomes distinctly dark and patterned in text settings due to repeated vertical strokes and angular breaks, especially in letters with multiple minims. The distinctive capital forms and pointed terminals give headings a decorative presence, while the condensed proportions keep lines feeling taut and compact.
