This is a high-contrast italic serif with sharply tapered entry and exit strokes and finely bracketed serifs. The letters show a lively rightward slant and a calligraphic rhythm, with pronounced thick–thin modulation through bowls and diagonals. Uppercase forms are compact and stately, while the lowercase is more fluid with narrow joins, angled terminals, and slightly varying widths that create an animated texture in words. Numerals appear as oldstyle figures, mixing ascenders and descenders and reinforcing a bookish, classical tone.

It works especially well for editorial typography, book and magazine settings, and refined headings where an italic voice is desired. The strong contrast and energetic slant also make it effective for invitations, luxury-oriented branding, and pull quotes or standfirsts where elegance and emphasis are key.

The overall tone is polished and literary, balancing formal tradition with an expressive italic sparkle. It feels suited to cultured, editorial settings—more classic than contemporary, with a confident, crafted presence.

The design appears intended as a classic text-oriented italic with a calligraphic sensibility, aiming to provide a sophisticated, traditional tone while maintaining clarity and a consistent, readable rhythm in continuous text.

The face reads cleanly at display sizes thanks to crisp hairlines and defined serifs, while the italic movement and variable character widths create a distinctly textured line. Round letters like o/c/e keep tight apertures, and long strokes (such as in f, y, and j) add vertical variety and momentum.
