A compact serif with heavy, uneven strokes and visibly roughened edges that mimic worn letterpress or dry-ink stamping. Serifs are blunt and slightly flared, with irregular terminals and occasional nicks that create a distressed silhouette. Counters are somewhat tight and shapes vary subtly from glyph to glyph, producing a handmade, imperfect rhythm. Uppercase forms read sturdy and emphatic, while lowercase keeps a small, compact footprint with simple, robust construction; numerals follow the same textured, print-worn logic.

Best suited to display typography where texture is an asset: posters, titles, packaging and label design, and branding that wants a crafted, old-print or rugged editorial flavor. It can work for short bursts of text or pull quotes, but the distressed detailing is most effective at medium-to-large sizes.

The overall tone feels vintage and tactile, like ink pressed onto absorbent paper or type pulled from an old poster. Its deliberate imperfections add grit and character, balancing a nostalgic, workshop-made feel with an energetic, slightly rowdy presence.

The design appears intended to emulate aged printing and imperfect ink transfer while retaining the familiar structure of a compact serif. Its goal is to deliver instant atmosphere—heritage, grit, and hand-produced authenticity—without relying on overtly decorative letterforms.

Texture appears both on the outer contours and within strokes, creating a mottled ink-coverage effect rather than clean vector uniformity. Spacing looks reasonably controlled in the text sample, but the active edges and tight interiors suggest it will read best when given some breathing room, especially at smaller sizes.
