A condensed display face built from tall, highly vertical letterforms with extreme thick–thin contrast and crisp, rectilinear terminals. Strokes are largely solid black but feature a consistent inline cut running through stems and bowls, creating a carved, hollowed-in effect that reads like a highlight or engraved channel. Curves are controlled and narrow, with tight apertures and compact counters; several characters show subtle flare and fluting along the verticals, reinforcing a stylized, architectural rhythm. Numerals and capitals keep a uniform, poster-like stance, while the lowercase mirrors the same narrow proportions and high-contrast structure for a cohesive texture in lines of text.

Best suited to headlines and short display settings where the inline detailing can be appreciated—such as posters, event branding, and storefront or menu titles. It can also work well for logotypes and product packaging that want an elevated, vintage-leaning statement, especially in single words or compact lines.

The overall tone feels glamorous and period-coded, evoking marquee lettering, jazz-age posters, and boutique packaging. The inline carving and sharp contrast add drama and a sense of crafted refinement, balancing elegance with a slightly theatrical, showcard presence.

The design appears intended to modernize classic high-contrast display lettering by carving an inline highlight through bold strokes, producing an engraved, ornamental look. Its condensed proportions and strict verticality suggest a focus on impact in narrow headline spaces while maintaining a refined, decorative character.

The dense black mass and internal white channel create strong figure–ground play that remains distinctive at larger sizes, while the narrow widths and tight counters can make long passages feel busy at small sizes. The design’s consistent vertical emphasis produces a steady rhythm in headlines, with the inline detail acting as a secondary stripe that adds motion across words.
